Organisation

Benmore, By Dunoon

Nestled within the breath-taking setting of Benmore gardens, our 19th century listed manor house has been modernised to provide comfortable group accommodation and spaces for a variety of events, conferences and weddings.

The House can sleep up to sleep 125 across four wings, bedrooms range from dorm style quarters sleeping six to ten in bunks to twin bedrooms, some with en-suite facilities.

The house also has a number of common rooms for groups to gather in, so whether you are looking for a peaceful space in our library to read, or a room to have your very own disco, we have something to suit your needs.

Choose from self-catering facilities or alternatively we can offer fully, part catered options if you have a busy schedule and want to relax throughout, our team can tailor packages to suit your needs and budget.

Enjoy an abundance of walks through Benmore Gardens which surround the House, or venture a little further to local attractions such as Pucks Glen and Kilmun Arboretum within a couple of miles, or a short drive away.

Observe local wildlife such as the red squirrels and deer both regular visitors to the gardens, as well as the occasional Golden Eagle.
If you are looking for something a little more adventurous why not try our industry leading outdoor activities. Explore the mystery of the paper caves, or try gorge walking through scenic sites. Canoe on Loch Eck or try your hand at bush craft, come rain or shine we have plenty of options to choose from. Whatever your ability, our team of experienced instructors will be able to help.

Many visitors to Benmore have commented on the magical Botanic Garden location, the building's architecture and occasionally a certain likeness to Hogwarts Castle. We can’t promise you’ll see Harry Potter fly past, but we can assure you of a memorable experience.
